Professional cocktail

The Interprofessional Cocktail is back for its 9th edition!
This evening offers young business people, entrepreneurs and members of professional associations from the metropolitan region the opportunity to get together and develop their network during a relaxed evening.

Lise Duquette

Régie de l’énergie

Lise Duquette was appointed Régisseuse de la Régie de l'énergie by the Quebec government in August 2009. Her mandate has been renewed several times, including a five-year term starting June 11, 2022. The Régie de l'énergie is an administrative tribunal for economic regulation that oversees and supervises Quebec's energy sector.

Mr. Duquette has been a member of the Quebec Bar for over 25 years, and holds an MBA from the Université de Montréal. Prior to her work at the Régie, she worked for natural gas transmission and distribution companies, where she acquired experience in regulatory and legal affairs.

François Émond
Manager
Régie de l'énergie

M. François Émond holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Université Laval and a master's degree in management and sustainable development from HEC-Montréal, he held various roles in political cabinets in Quebec City and Ottawa from 2003 to 2018, including that of Chief of Staff in the Ministries of the Environment and Energy. He was appointed Régisseur on February 19, 2018, following an independent selection process. Since September 2019, he has represented the Régie on CAMPUT's executive committee.

Melany Ferreira
Economic Regulation Specialist in the Electricity Regulation Branch
Régie de l'énergie

Ms. Melany Ferreira, has been working as an economic regulation specialist in the Direction générale adjointe en règlementation électricité at the Régie de l'énergie since November 2018. She works primarily on reliability standards adoption files as well as investment files.

Ms. Ferreira has been an engineer and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec for 15 years, and holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). Prior to joining the Régie, she worked for a number of engineering consulting firms.
