Unveiling of the acclaimed members of the Young Bar of Montreal for the 2024-2025 mandate

Montreal, May^1, 2024 - The Young Bar Association of Montreal (JBM ) todayannounced the list of candidates elected by acclamation for the 2024-2025 term. This year, the number of candidates received being equivalent to the number of positions available, all candidates having submitted their candidacy by April 29, 2024 are declared elected by acclamation.

The 12 candidates elected by acclamation for the 2024-2025 term will take office at theJBM Annual General Meeting on May 23, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the PHI Centre .

"This year, we're seeing continuity on the Board of Directors, as well as new people who will contribute to the Board's dynamism for the 2024-2025 term," says JBM General Manager Élizabeth^{Ménard-Laberge}.

Please note that due to modifications to the General By-Laws ratified by the members at the Special General Meeting of February 29, 2024, and in accordance with Article 66 of these new by-laws, of the twelve (12) elected directors, two officer positions will be appointed by the Board of Directors following the election, namely the position of President and Vice-President.

The management positions mentioned above will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on May 23, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Centre PHI. Admission to the AGM is free and open to all.
