Appointment of Élizabeth Ménard-Laberge as General Manager of the JBM
The Young Bar of Montreal (JBM) is pleased to announce the appointment ofMe Élizabeth Ménard-Laberge to the position of Executive Director of the JBM, following a rigorous selection process.
Ms. Ménard-Laberge holds a bachelor's degree in law from Université Laval and a bachelor's degree in communications, politics and society from Université du Québec à Montréal. Her academic career has been marked by her social commitment to various associations, including Université Laval's Pro Bono Committee.
A member of the Quebec Bar since 2018,Ms. Ménard-Laberge practiced in the litigation department of a commercial real estate firm, where she was involved in various diversity and inclusion initiatives.Ms. Ménard-Laberge also benefits from varied experience in the workplace, having completed her articling at the Bar in family law and housing law.

Élizabeth Ménard-Laberge will be implementing the 2021-2024 Strategic Plan with her new general management team, which includes Alexandra Dupont, Head of Events and Projects, Audrey Ménard-Laberge and Audrey Ménard-Laberge.Audrey Lévesque-Aubut, Communications and Public Relations Manager, Fatine Boumeftah, Marketing and Fundraising Manager, and Jadeli Scott, Pro Bono Legal Services Coordinator.
Effective immediately, StéphanieBeaulieu will assume the role of outgoing General Manager until October 31, to ensure a smooth transition of her files and responsibilities.

Founded in 1898, the JBM brings together over 5,000 members of the Montreal Bar who have been practicing for ten years or less. These young lawyers work in all areas of the law, making their mark professionally. They are the next generation of lawyers, both nationally and internationally. They form an influential group, involved in the community, and are destined to become leaders in all spheres of society. When it comes to public affairs, the JBM's mandate is to position itself as a key player in the popularization of current legislation.
