Alexandre Plourde is a lawyer and analyst with Option consommateurs. For over ten years, he has worked in the field of consumer protection and privacy. Mr. Plourde holds a bachelor's degree in law from the Université de Montréal, and has undertaken a master's degree in information technology law at the same university. He recently presented Option consommateurs' observations to the National Assembly during the special consultations on Bill 29.
