The Research and Legislation Committee (CRL) has three missions.
Production of LRC Blog content
The LRC Blog is dedicated to the dissemination of legal content. It's a fast, practical way for legal professionals to keep abreast of recent developments in the legal world.
Dissertation writing
At the request of the Board of Directors, the Committee may be called upon to prepare detailed briefs for parliamentary commissions, Quebec Bar reform committees or other governmental or paragovernmental bodies.
Decision follow-up
The Committee pays particular attention to decisions by the Supreme Court of Canada and the Quebec Court of Appeal that are likely to result in legal reforms.
