A look back at the Prix Paris-Montréal
A victory for the Young Bar of Montreal
On Wednesday September 3, the Quebec Court of Appeal generously hosted another edition of the legendary Prix Paris-Montréal oratory competition, organized by the Jeune Barreau de Montréal (JBM). A veritable annual rendezvous for eloquence, the event brought together 11 delegations from young bars in Quebec and Europe, to compare their oratory skills on a theme as audacious as it was tasty: " Is the cherry too much on the cake? "
The competition opened with an inspiring speech by Alice Popovici, First Councillor of the Montreal Bar Council.

Participants, whose outstanding performances kept the audience on its toes, included :

After careful deliberation, the winners of this year's competition were announced:

Third place: Me Gauthier Bogaert, representing the Brussels Young Bar Conference

Second place: Chloé Mifsud, representing the Hauts-de-Seine Bar Conference

First place: Me Fortunat Nadima, representing JBM.
This enthusiastically-received victory confirms the JBM's excellence on the international oratory scene.
