JBM announces the recipient of the Gabriella Rozankovic, Avocate inc. - practice in the field of arts and entertainment law
The Jeune Barreau de Montréal (JBM) enthusiastically unveiled the name of the winner of the Firm Start-Up Grant on March 30, in a video posted on its Facebook page. Thanks to the excellence of her application, Gabriella Rozankovic's firm was able to stand out and benefit from over $20,000 in cash, products and services.

Sworn in in September 2016,Ms. Rozankovic combined her passion and her profession to start her firm dedicated to the cultural milieu. Indeed, her practice focuses primarily on arts and entertainment law with a three-pronged business vision of "firm", "agency" and "informative consultations". It was the professionalism of his plan and his business vision that won unanimous praise from the members of the Jury, made up ofMe Maryse Bélanger, Supervisor of Professional Quality / Professional Inspection at the Quebec Bar, Mr. Walter Gomez, Senior Director, Assurance and Accounting at MNP,Me Extra Junior Laguerre, self-employed lawyer at Laguerre Fiscaliste, Mr. Daniel Lefebvre, Senior Director, Management and Business Development at Desjardins, andMe Mylène Lemieux, President of JBM.
Speaking at the unveiling, GabriellaRozankovic said: "I would like to extend my warmest thanks to the JBM and all its partners, whose invaluable contribution of time and resources made this bursary possible. It's a real privilege to be the recipient of this award, especially in light of those who have won it before me and who have built innovative and recognized legal practices. I'm certain that this support from the JBM has contributed greatly to their success, and I'm honoured to be joining the path they have blazed before me. "
The JBM Firm Start-Up Grant Program is designed to promote entrepreneurship among young lawyers and support the next generation of legal professionals. It aims to encourage creativity and best practices in law, as well as job creation and financial autonomy for young lawyers, by helping them realize their plans to start a firm offering legal advisory services. It is also intended to encourage lawyers to stay in practice by helping them carry out firm start-up projects in the judicial district of Montreal.
